We follow the Read, Write Inc. scheme which is a systematic, structured approach to teaching phonics, ensuring that all children develop the skills they need to decode words confidently and fluently. Daily phonics lessons are engaging, pacey, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners. Read, Write Inc supports progression, with regular assessments to track development and provide additional support where needed. Our aim is to instil a love of reading from the very beginning, giving every child the best possible start on their literacy journey.
