Geography

At St Thomas of Canterbury, our geography curriculum inspires children to explore and understand the world around them. We encourage curiosity about people, places, and environments—locally, nationally, and globally. Through engaging lessons, pupils develop a strong sense of place and an understanding of how physical and human processes shape the world. Fieldwork and map skills are embedded throughout, helping children to observe, record, and analyse geographical information. We aim to equip our pupils with the knowledge and awareness needed to become responsible global citizens.
