Out of Hours Club

Welcome to the Out of Hours page.

If you intend to use the Breakfast and or Afterschool club, please use the SchoolMoney App. SchoolMoney is a modern, secure and intelligent school payment system that allows you to book and pay online. It is important that all places booked are paid for in advance through the app (the Office will provide you with login details when your child/ren start at school). We operate a late booking fee (£2.50) if you have not booked your child in for the following day. For example, if booking your child in for Monday morning, if you have not booked online (through the app) by midnight on Sunday you will be unable to use the online facility. You can, however, text the mobile number below if you have been unable to book or if required in an emergency.

07391955452

You will receive a text message to confirm receipt of your request, but please note that this mobile is kept in school and therefore texts will be replied to close to the time of the club opening.

A choice of snack is available each day. Examples include toast, sandwiches, wraps and/or crumpets. Fruit and yoghurt is available and a selection of juices are on offer. We cater for food allergies (please discuss this with the school first). On occassions, such as Chinese New Year, St. George's Day or Shrove Tuesday we aim to have something relevent to the day.

As a club, we have achieved the Tasty Tuck Award, part of the St. Helens Healthy Living initiative to promote healthy snacks and drinks for children and young people. Our portion sizes are restricted and while all children are able to have a cup of juice (for example) once that has been finished, they will be offered water or milk to drink.

The Tasty Tuck Award does not just focus on food, but the overall well being of children and young people. We encourage all children to access the outdoor area each day, indeed we are often outside until it is almost completely dark (weather permitting). As a school we are lucky to have the field at the back of school and regularly access it. The children have a large range of equipment to use, but often enjoy using their imaginations more. There are plenty of drama and singing shows that occur on the playground!

Please complete the registration form below and return to school (an electronic copy can be returned to outofhoursclub@sthelens.org.uk) when you use the facility for the first time.

We hope that your child/ren and you will be very happy at Breakfast and/or After School Club.
