Pupil Performance

Our pupil performance data compares very favourably with other schools locally and nationally.  Our children flourish in a nurturing environment where they are encouraged to do their best always and to take responsibilty for their own learning.  Most pupils leave our school with good or better standards of achievement. We have much to celebrate this year!

The 2016 Key Stage 2 Assessments were the first which assessed the new, more challenging national curriculum which was introduced in 2014.  New test and interim frameworks for teacher assessments have been introduced to reflect the revised curriculum.  Results are no longer reported as levels, and each pupil receives their test results as a scaled score and teacher assessments based on the standards in the interim framework. If a pupil gets a scaled score of 100 or more it means they are working at or above the expected standard in the subject.
